If I purchase more cameras when smart plan is full, will it save automatically to SD card?

I have the smartplan and it is full. if I purchase a few more Camera’s will those go onto the SD card automatically. When they are not on the smart alert list? Im concerned because it says “inactive” as the header on the cameras that are not on smart cloud alert.

Each camera has to have a subscription to Smart. The Premier and Elite plans each cover 5 cameras so additional ones need the discounted single camera plans. If you have an older legacy subscription, you'll have to unsubscribe and resubscribe to get all cameras covered.

Maybe I was not clear. I have a 20 camera smart Elite plan. Ot has 20 cameras on it and works just fine. If I add two more cameras onto a base station, I understand they will not be on the plan. Do these cameras since they are not on the plan record to the SD card in the base station.

As long as they're active when checking your cameras in Subscriptions, they will locally record. They don't have to be in Smart.
