Recordings to be more clear. What camera to upgrade to distinguish the face/plates on car?

Hi everyone,

I posted this in one of the previous posts because of the quality of the recording. i would like recording to be more crisp/clear and wouldnt mind upgrading this camera. Can someone recomend Arlo WiFi camera that would be able to have make recordings that when you look at it you can distinguish the face or plates on the car (day or night).

The 2k and 4k models may help but you'd need to test. Those cameras are wider angle which eliminates some of the advantage of the higher resolution but it's really the compression that hurts clarity. Getting the camera as close as possible to the action is the best way to get details since zooming will turn into pixelization.
