Camera dont record start of action. Only records few seconds of actions.

I bought a package with 2 cameraes and base station

Everything is set up and works, can view cameras live etc

But when f.ex a car drives past or a person walkes past, it only records the last few secounds of the action.. I never sees the car or person coming.

Sometimes it wont record any thing all day before next morning?

Tips?

Read the FAQs here in the support section on best camera positioning and changing the motion sensitivity. Basically, the camera needs to see the motion across the FOV, not at it. Reduce the camera view by rotating the camera so that only the real area of interest is in view - don't get the sky and street. Remember that people detection is only out to ~25 feet if the sensitivity in your modes and rules is set to 100%.
