Prob not... battery powered IR floods would not last long if on all night.

The nice thing about the IR flood lights is that the neighbors will NOT be disturbed by them... they only show a slight reddish glow to the eye.

But, you can check the web.

Yes...

either add regular lighting or a IR flood light ( 850nm ) will greatly improve the outdoor vision.

It's hard to get more than 15 ft out of small IR leds in the camera.

I use a IR flood light that was for the old Vuezone cameras ( the company that Netgear bought out before the Arlo HD release )... it adds an easy 50 ft of lighting.

looks like this;

https://www.ebay.com/itm/NETGEAR-VueZone-Infrared-Lamp-with-Power-Cord-Mounting-Hardware-New-/153561172232

But any 850nm IR flood light will work... and they are not really expensive to try... many on the internet

Thank you, are these available in battery form as we have no more place to plug anything in. Also our drive is not very long and the cameras face the road and there are houses across from us. do not want a light shining on them.
