Pro 2 camera plugged in and shows it's charging but battery isn't charging. Tried different cords.

My camera is plugged in, it shows the symbol telling me it’s charging, but the battery does not get charged. I’ve tried different cords and chargers and am using 3 different batteries. I’ve tried cleaning all the connections and ribbon cable appears to be fine. Anyone have a clue as to the problem? Thank you in advance!

Have u tried/ used the original supplied ac adapter & cable?

It did not come with one, I bought them separately. Yes, I’ve used both the original and replacement cables.

well, a while back there was a few complaints about lack of charging with a Pro vs Pro2 using one or the others charger...

Its seems ( IIRC, someone correct me if wrong ) that the PROs required a dual voltage qualcom type charger with 5 and 9v output.... later Pro2s were supplied with just 5v adapters as there was some sort of HW change to just use 5v.

If you have a qualcom type charger ( like for a samsung phone ) try it ( nothing to loose )

Just check the output of the adapters ( fine print on cube )

I would say if the chargers work on a second camera ( dont know if u have a second ) then the issue is in the camera after using multi batteries for testing....

In this case you have two options;

1) if less than a year old go thru Arlo support for warranty

2) use the camera as a powered only camera as it appears to work that way
