1. Is there a way to extend the cloud storage for more than a week?
2. How long does a battery last on 24/7 recording?

Buy a subscription that meets your needs:

Arlo subscription plans and cloud recording

Remember, set it up and you can have local storage of recordings. Bit fiddly, but costs nothing.

It depends on how much activity you set rules and modes to create.

My Pro 2 cameras run for months between charges and with quite a bit of activity. But I also has permanent mains power for some cameras.

1) OR you can use a USB speed stick in the base ( 4000 model pictured ) and a 64gb one will store all your events for a long time without a subscription

2) the only true 24/7 recording with the pro2 cams is if it is powered on ac AND you paid for a CVR option.

the battery in normal armed modes ( camera will record when detects motion ) should last at least 2 months or longer in spec use of 5min per day recording or less... mine go about 3 months
