You could use the adjustable mount that screws in to the cam instead of magnetic mount.

Who did not tell you t will not work through glass?

This is ridiculous I'm about to return it.
The magnetic attachment makes it too easy to be stolen.
And the sensors don't work through glass which I was not told before buying this! What a waste of money.

That’s good to know that I can purchase an adjustable mount to screw into.

i just noticed the notification never goes off when people walk past the camera from the outside through the window the camera cannot sensor it to me to notify me.
so I googled it and it appears the motion sensor doesn’t work through windows. Not many cameras do at all which I never knew about.

Most of the Arlo cameras use PIR devices to detect motion...they use IR which most glass blocks. Therefore the cameras don’t detect.

The Q cameras ( and baby ) use pixel change to detect, so work thru glass.

I have the Arlo pro 2. Can I change its settings to make it pixel? Or what is (baby).
should I just get a new camera that has pixel?
