How do you attach the UK 3-pin adapter to the Arlo Pro 2 power adapter?

Hi Everyone!

I have just received my new Arlo Pro 2 cameras and base station and have a very simple question about the plug/charger that comes with it...

How do you attach the UK 3-pin adapter to the power adapter???

I think I can see how it would go on but when trying it, it doesn't seem very secure and doesn't seem to connect very well together (see pics for details).

Am I just being super stupid or am I missing something??

Thanks a lot for any help, even if it is just pointing out the obvious...

That doesn't look right.

The adapter bit with the USB outlet is unlike mine.

They should just slide together.

Looks like the part number on the adapter is wrong for the plug.

Mine is P/N:332-50024-1

Thank you for replying, I agree, something just didn't seem right...

I will try to get into contact with Arlo and see if they can send me the correct one.

If you (or anyone else) happens to know the best way/dept to get in contact with that would be very helpful.

Who sold it to you?

I'd start with them.

By the way, it is a standard USB adapter. You can use something else until they replace the dud.

Did it comes with plugs for other countries? If so, do any of them work?

I've just had an online chat with Arlo support, and they're going to send me a new plug, I'll be honest, great service!!

To answer your other question, yes it came with a UK and US adapter and neither of them fit.

I'm currently using my phone charger.

That's good. With luck someone will send a rocket to the Vietnamese factory that made these things. There could be container loads of that stuff out there.

I have a whole box of those adapters lying around. One thing worth remembering is that even the US ones labelled 100-120V seems to work on 240V without going bang.

I hope you got the VMB4000 base station. The newer VMB4500 doesn't have the ear shattering siren of the original.
