Arlo requires the base to be claimed first and then sync the cameras. I haven't seen the directions lately but they should step you through that as a first step.

I'm trying to set up a new arlo pro 2 with the arlo app its its stating I'm supposed to choose wire free as a setup option but it isnt showing that. I have plugged up the base and connected the cameras all with no issue but can not get the app to find the base. It's saying to find it manually but it won't even let me try that option.

You might have to connect it to the router via Ethernet first then after getting it all set up I believe you can move it somewhere else and it’ll walk you through the few simple steps. However I do also have a eufy security camera system.... I could be getting the two mixed up. Good luck!

side-note: eufy > arlo
