Does the housing help cut down wind. My Arlo keeps setting off because of wind

If you mean the skins to cove the Pro2 , then not really.... tho it might slightly since the mic is in front

More of a way to change the color.

The microphone is on the front surface of the camera, so it would still be exposed to direct wind from the front.

Wind from the side or back would take a different path because of the housing - no idea if that would create more wind noise or less, since I don't use that housing.
