Arlo Pro 2 for outdoor use

I just purchased the ARLO PRO 2 for outdoor use. I was just informed (after I purchased and installed the cameras outdoors) that the outdoor power cable accessory has been recalled (this cable allows you to have access to additional options CVR, specific zones). I have been a loyal Arlo customer and I'm VERY disappointed that I was not made aware of this PRIOR to my purchase. Any suggestions?

I purchased that cord on Amazon for three outdoor cameras. It is a flat cable allowing one to close the window on the cord. It still is not easy to close the windows. But it works and love it.

That may work fine but remember that use of it can void your warranty if something happens.
