Geofencing not updating when arriving or leaving unless app is open for Android 2.12.3_27015

The geofencing is not arming when I leave or disarming when I arrive unless the application is opened. I can arrive home and the system is armed and triggering cameras to record unless the app is opened. Android, version 2.12.3_27015

Thank you for the reply.

The android app was deleted, re-installed and allowed location access. All seems to work fine now.
