Are you convinced that this is Arlo specific and not something that affects the whole of your network?

I ask because I once used a modem/router in modem only mode. It was so slow to boot and establish an Internet connection that the rest of the network timed out before it could connect.

When this happens next, try restarting the whole network in the recommended order:

Turn off modem.

Turn off router and computers.

Turn it on modem. Wait 2 minutes.

Turn on router and wait 2 minutes.

Turn on computers and Arlo stuff.

If that doesn't work at least you will know which bit to blame.

In my case, I replaced the modem/router with a modem .

We have some electrical upgrades being done to our house at the moment.

Each time the power is turned off and back on the base station will appear offline.

The three green lights still appear all green at the front.

I have tried...

- Restarting router ( I know its not the router for all WiFi devices in the house work.)

-Rebooting base station

- Reinstalling app

- Logging in and out of app.

The only solution I have found to fix this is to do a full factory reset and re-sync the cameras.

In my opinion this is not an acceptable solution.

Every time I get a power cut am I going to have to factory reset and re-sync all cameras/arlo devices...?

Timing on the re-boot between the base and router is causing the issue....

OR

the base is offline to long and the cameras loose sync.

The only solution I can give is to put a UPS on the base unit ( and also the router if possible ) to eliminate issues.

Many do this , esp if the system is in a remote location due to short term power outages.
