Record motion without my assistance?

I can’t get the cams to record motion when I’m asleep or away from home?
It records motion if iPhone is in hand and I press the play button.
All else works great. I plan to buy more in the near future. If I can solve this issue.

Are you using the mode ARMED?

Adjusted the sense level ?

Are the motion detect icons black when looking at the Live View screen ?

Hello TomMac,

I lowered sense level to 50,
Is a lower number better?
Motion detect are not black.
How to find ARMED in settings?
Bought 2 cams yesterday, very new to Arlo.

The “device” Icons are black!
I understand what you meant.
And the sense level at 50 is recording everything, haha
