The arlo smart is enabled with both cameras. I let my dogs out the back constantly and the animal alerts get annoying so I turned animal off and left person on. I still get alerts, but when my dog is detected it shows up in a pop up message as a person like the photo attached and then when you go to the camera history to view the captured moment, it is labeled as an animal. Essentially making the person, animal, detection options useless.
