Does anyone know how to edit downloaded video?

I have downloaded a video from my Arlo Pro2 camera, which in MP4 format however as the video is 65 seconds long i only need a portion of the video, does anyone know how to edit the video, ie save only 20 seconds of video ?

Take a look at VLC player ... it is free, and can edit and take snapshots during playback

Works really well.

Another free option is AVIDemux (a basic video editor). Ideally you'd make sure the segment begins with an I-frame, which would eliminate the need to transcode it (which will reduce the quality).
