Upcoming multi-sensor system requirements

Hi.

I plan to by a Arlo Pro 2 system (with the VMB4000) Arlo Pro base station soon.

But will this basestation/system support the upcoming new multi-sensor, sirene and remote control? Or will I have to buy the new Arlo Smarthub to use thes new gadges?

Hi,

I have been reading articles that Arlo's smart security sensors will release in later half od 2019. Ever since they made that announcement in CES https://www.cnet.com/g00/news/ces-2019-an-arlo-home-security-system-is-here-at-last/?i10c.encReferrer= . I have been excited bout this. But after the announcement , there has been no reports on when it will release or is it closer to getting it released. Does anyone know about this?

I wouldn’t expect this any time soon......not mentioned in the Q2 investor briefings (as opposed to the video doorbell which was specifically called out).

What has happened to the Comprehensive Security Solution that was announced on January 7th 2019 at CES-2019 (Concumer Electronics Show). it stated in the ARLO press release

"The Arlo Security System will be available in the second half of 2019."

I want these sensors very badly to go with my Arlo Ultra system I purchased in January.

Back in January during the CES 2019, the Arlo Security System with the multisensor and key fob was shown. Is this product actually coming out sometime in the near future or has that new product been cancelled? No articles online since January, so seems it was cancelled, but maybe it's just a "top secret" release??

I have submitted a support request asking for a date when they will be available - am also very interested in the leak detection of the multi-sensor - hope it works with the Pro base station

Arlo announced second half of 2019. For Homekit, Arlo announced 1st quarter and it was released at the middle of the 3rd quarter.

If you do the math, maybe it will be released at the end of 2021.

Comprehensive Security System

Just wondering if anyone has any updates on the comprehensive security system that Arlo announced last January. The posts from August say its supposed to be out by the end of the year but that seems unlikely with no announcement made so far. This system was a big reason we decided to go with Arlo in the first place so I'd love to know where they're at!

it was announced at CES 2019 in January, but I haven't heard anything since.
I contacted Arlo Sales about this, but they never came back to me.

Too many promises, too many bugs, I can't relay on this system, the support doesn't care...
