Yes, you can run multiple bases on the same account with no problem. The limitation for the free plan is a total of 5 cameras per account. If you'll go over 5 cameras with the new system, you can use a second account with a second email address to set up the new system. Then use Settings, Grant Access from the second account to the first so all cameras will be seen with one login.
