Arlo Pro 2 won't run on battery alone. Needs to be plugged in.

So it looks like my battery is dead and bought a new one. Fully charged and the camera won't turn on. If I plug it in, it turns on and works. Pull the plug and it turns off. Says that firmware for the camera and base station are up to date.

Thoughts?

Thanks

Do you have more than one camera so u can swap batteries and test?

Or a voltmeter on the battery pack...

Other then that, check the contacts in the camera to make sure they are clean and make good contact with the battery...

It may just be a bad camera.

as to dead battery; read these to confirm;
