Slow wifi and picture quality

I'm looking at buying a 4 camera pro 2 kit. Tge salesman at best buy tells me that the low mbps wifi signal from the cameras to the base unit will produce grainy worthless pics if I later need to identify a intruder. Is this info accurate? Or do I need a wired system ?

Unless they are advising you that your Internet speed is too slow, that is nonsense.

What does the Best Buy website say? It may be better informed than the sales people.
