New app incompatible with chrome book or acer computer

Acer Chrome BookR11CC738T is not considered a Chrome Book for some unknown reason and it will not take the new app. as a Chrome Book unless Arlo comes up with some way to get around this. I'm out the browser on my "chrome book" for the new app so no Arlo there anymore.

Has anyone found a way to download from Google store the new app for a chrome book or laptop? It tells me my device is incompatible.
