      <description>&lt;P&gt;Using the AC Power cable only no subscription. Once the zone is configured, does the cable able to be disconected and the zone still intact. Can a new zone be created, etc.?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I believe you’re referring to basic activity zones, these are only operational while external power is applied.&lt;BR /&gt;To have them operational on battery you need a subscription.&lt;BR /&gt;You don’t get the 3 second look back unless they are powered.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;So you’re trying to operate a camera mounted 50ft away from the nearest power socket so you can enable basic activity zones with out buying and installing a power cable, correct. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Arlo wants you to pay more for that feature.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
