Couple questions

1) Can I check the capacity for my Hard drive remotely with app

2) Will it rewrite over it's self once it has reach capacity

1) no..you must eject it

2) yes if that option is set ( you can toggle it on/off )

For the first question (checking capacity remotely), yes, use the app/browser and go to Settings, My Devices, your base, Local Storage and click on your drive. It shows the formatted capacity and available space.
