Arlo Wall Mount VMA 1000.

Are the VMA 1000 wall mounts suitable for using with the Arlo Pro 2 camera that is permanently connected to a power source (rather than the rechargeable battery) via a micro lead? I bought a mount (not Arlo) that has a similar look to the Arlo product but I could not connect it to the camera when the lead was connected as the “fly wheel” was blocked by the head of the lead.

Hi @Doody1955

The VMA1000 will not work while plugged in to AC Power, you should be able to use a magnetic mount if applicable for your situation.

Thank you. There is no issue using the magnetic mount when the camera is connected to a power lead. Your response does confirm the extended wall mount is not suitable where there is a power lead connected.
