If I get cvr will it still record when live viewing?

If I subscribe to a CVR package will it still record if I view live?

if it does can I then download a section of the recording that I viewed live?

basically if I was watching my camera remotely and saw something happen could I then get the recorded evidence of that?

CVR has no interaction with live view or recording. However, if you want to record something while live viewing, it's easier to just manually record. If you miss being able to record manually, you can play back CVR but will need 3rd party software to capture it locally.

Look up "CVR" in these threads and you will see countless pissed off customers who pay for this service and have all sorts of issues.

Just a suggestion before you waste more money on something that doesn't work (like the pro 2 base stations)

I happen to use software that comes with the Roxio CD/DVD authoring package as well as other packages. There are apparently similar free softwares that can be downloaded. I view CVR in full screen and activate the software to capture what I need.
