How to setup cross triggering?

My 6 camera outdoor system has overlapping fields of view. When camera #1 detects motion how can I get camera #2, which is too far away to be triggered by the motion, to also record? The IFTTT app doesn’t seem to do it.

Have you created custom modes?

with rules as follows;

Cam A triggers, Cam A records

Cam A triggers, Cam B records

Noob here! I did not know it would be that easy. But I don’t know how to do that... Only instructions with the unit were for startup and what is on the package! Nothing about “rules” in the Arlo app. Where should I look?

You have to go to MODES, for you base ADD A MODE

follow directions for first camera and SAVE

go back to new mode and edit to add second camera, save
