Activity zone required

Do I have to create an activity zone? I'd like to just get all notifications for that camera, and from what I've read zones drain the battery faster.

You don't need zones to get alerts/emails... they are Per camera and set them in the mode you are arming with ( or create a custom mode )

Only wat to get the annoying alert off the screen is to set an activity zone. While I'm not sure that they drain battery, from my experience they don't even work.. I've tested and set activity zones on my Arlo cameras and stuff that's way outside the activity zones still trigger it to record. Useless and annoying in my opinion.
