Camera keeps popping up update camera

Trying to add my 5th camera and under devices it keeps saying update camera. It is detecting motion and sychd to the base station but it does not up date the firmware also when I look under device info it says update required and when I follow that link it says no updates available. I am about to toss this camera becauae something is wrong. Can anyone advise what the heck is going on and how to fix it

New system or a new camera purchase? Swapping at the store would take care of bad hardware. I would reboot the base, remove and resync the camera.

UPDATE

AFTER SEVERAL TRIES I FINALLY GOT IT TO WORK . I FINALLY NOTICED THAT A,MESSAGE KEPT POPPING UP ABOUT CHANGING THE PIXEL SIZE AND I HAD BEEN HITTING CANCEL. IT POPPED UP THE LAST TIME AND I DECIDED TO HIT ACCEPT AND IT HAS WORKED FINE SINCE. THANKS FOR THE ADVICE ON THIS ISSUE
