Arlo pro 2. Max number of cameras per base station

Hi Guys,

Looking to buy 6 Arlo cameras. Looking at buying 2x 3 pack Arlo 2s. Would it be possible to setup all 6 with the 1 base station? if so will there be bandwidth issues? just prefer to have the 1 base station. The 5 camera pack isnt quite enough.

yes, you can run up to 20 on one base tho only 5 can stream at the same time.

Catch here is if you go over 5 camera on an account, you have to pay for the next service level that supports up to 10.

I just bought a 6 camera pack and it didn’t allow me to even use the 6th camera. I understand that they want to charge me the additional cost to record the 6th camera in the cloud and I could decide if I want to pay the additional cost or use local storage, but it turns out that Arlo doesn’t even allow the 6th camera to be used, not even the live view. Does any of you had the same issue?

You MUST choose the proper system when setting it up or you only get the usual 5 camera free plan. Remove all devices from Settings, My Devices. I believe you also will need to use a brand new account so use a different email address and start fresh.
