Read the FAQs here about changing settings in you modes and rules (as well as many other useful topics). You have to disable audio detection in your modes and rules. Be sure to save changes.

If it's a custom mode, try recreating the mode all over again with the same settings. Otherwise, remove the camera(s) and resync.

I actually went in to the settings and turned off the "always listening" tab. Not just the speaker and the microphone.

"Always listening" - it's not on my Pro 2 cameras for either settings or modes/rules. Maybe some screenshots would help.
