topic Pro 2 base vs. Toshiba flash drives in Arlo Pro 2

I ran into an unusual problem with the pro 2 base. A Toshiba 16 gb USB 2 flash drive appears to be constantly busy as soon as it is plugged in. The base alerts that the storage is full even though it is not.

So there is some sort of incompatibility with that flash drive. A Sony flash drive I had handy does not exhibit the problem.

Rhetorically asking; Is it only that one model? Or will other flash drives also have the problem?

Cheers

And it may be just that one drive, not the model.

Yup. Forgot to mention that I tried a couple of the Toshibas fresh out of the package.
Clearly there is a compatibility issue going on. Easy enough to avoid this particular flash drive model if the problem is in the flash drive.

The real question is where is the questionable design? In the flash drive or in the base?

There's no way to know unless you have access to equipment that can be used to determine the fault.
