Hi all, I am having issues getting an ideal configuration from my Arlo system. It's usually too much noise or not enough. So I am wondering what other folks are doing.

What I would ideally like is for my phone to get notified when there is activity when I am not home and when it's between the hours of 7pm and 7am. Additionally I want the camera to record at all times when there is activity. Just not notify me all the time.

I've played around with geofencing set to active when I am not home and schedule when I am home but then if I am home and the it's during the hours when my schedule is not active it won't record.

If I understand you correctly...

Home: record all the time, but don’t notify.

Away: record all the time but only notify between 7pm and 7am.

It seems like you should be able to do this without too much problem. Use Armed for one rule and set it to notify you as you wish....push and/or email. Then create another rule ArmedNoNotifications (or something like that) and make it identical to Armed except don’t check push or email notifications at all. Leave those blank. Then in Schedule set it up so it uses Armed between 7pm and 11:59 pm and again from midnight to 7 am. Then use ArmedNoNotify from 7:01 am to 6:59 pm.

Then in geofencing use ArmedNoNotify when you are home and Schedule when you are away.
