I will have to set the solar panel about 30 feet from the camera to get sufficient sunlight. Does Arlo sell extension cables or is the cable that comes with the device easily spliced

You'd have to splice in the middle so the sealed connectors on each end remain. Of course, use of a properly sized wire as well as sealing the splices would be mandatory.
