Plugged in, they're similar except the Q isn't weatherproof.

Mine's waterproof (Covered the speaker and mic with silicone)

No difference in quality as far as video recording goes?

If you covered with silicon doesn't that render most sounds dull? There are many fine meshes you can attach that don't impede input and output of sounds
