Hi!

Just purchased Arlo Pro 2 (2 camera system) and got them running, but something must be wrong, the video quality is very poor (looks like it came from a 20 year old digital camera)
Could it be a hardware issue or just a setting that I have to change?

https://youtu.be/aCnQKsbhrsI

Camera firmware: 1.125.11.4_290921

Camera hardware: H3

Streeming option: Best video quality

Base Station Firmware: 1.12.0.1_27940

Base station hardware: VMB4000r3

Just to be certain can you describe the reason for your comparison.

For easier access to post your recordings, you can go to the recording in the library and tap on the option to the right and choose share, then select the copy link option and paste into your post. This reduces any re-conversion of the video but the link only lasts 24hrs.

If that's the video you tagged, other than the iris adjusting to light level in start, it looks pretty god.

Could it be the frame rate?

Have you adjusted the picture size in the video settings of the camera?
If so this is a digital adjustment not optical so the frame pixel size will change.
If you want to know more then get the media info app and look at the vertical and horizontal resolution.
