Hi All,

Issue: My base station is offline even though the unit has power is connected to internet and all the lights are green. It was working fine then randomly became unresponisive on the app.

Things I’ve done already.
- Checked the ethernet cable & power plugged into the unit
- Rebooted the base station via
on/off button.
- Switched Ethernet cable to another cable & port to modem.
- Signed out of app then back in.
- Updated the app on my iphone.
- Disconnected my VPN app
incase it was interferring with the connection (Proton VPN)
- Rebooted my phone & the base station again.
- Unplugged the power cord and left for a few minutes before reconnecting.

Still no response & offline, all the lights are green and present on both the base station and the modem.

The only thing left to try is reboot the modem, even though there is nothing wrong with the wifi but I will need to remove all doubt.

I suspect this may be an issue that can only be rectified by technical staff from the manufacturers of Arlo.

Regards,

L Parker

It is likely that nothing was wrong at your end. It could be your ISP has blocked access to the arlo server.
If you’re modem has wifi then see if the phone App can access the arlo server?
You can check a lot of things yourself but best contact arlo support so they can raise a ticket.
