topic Why don't my cameras work with a 2.4 amp 2 post USB charger? in Arlo Pro 2

That's likely 2.4 amps TOTAL which may be insufficient to run 2 cameras (1.2A each). Also, 5v will only run the cameras but 9v is needed to charge them, using a Qualcomm Quick Charge-certified charger. The Arlo charger is something like 5v @ 2A and 9v @ 1.2A or similar.

Purchased a 2.4 amp 2 post USB charger to free up a plug where I have 2 Arlo Pro 2 cameras plugged in. Just wondering why the cameras don’t work with the 2 port charger?

My experience to date is that not all USB chargers are the same.
The only one that I have found to run the camera is the apple 5W charger. (Camera Icon displays only the lightning bolt) Note though it will not allow charging of the battery. To also charge the battery you will need a Qualcomm compliant charger that uses quick charge method. (Gets both battery and lightning bolt)
