Upgrade To Arlo Ultra 4k from Arlo Pro 2 Program

Hi Arlo Team

I am looking forward to upgrade my invested Arlo Pro 2 with your Arlo Ultra in New Zealand.

Reading through the community I understand that the base station of Arlo Pro 2 does not support Arlo Ultra cameras.

I am raising this post to get some answers on how the exchage/upgrade program will roll out to customers like me.

To my knowledge there will not be an upgrade prgm to the new Ultra.

( apple never offered a discount on a new phone either )

But you will be able to move any of the other cameras over to the Ultra base.

"What we recommend for existing users who upgrade to an Ultra kit, is to swap out their existing basestations to the Arlo SmartHub, which allows them to take advantage of all of the benefits of Ultra, as well as all of the benefits of Arlo Smart"

What I read is that Arlo is recommending you to use the new Ultra base as oppsed to the older Pro/2 base for all the cameras to get the new options ( esp since the Ultra will not work on the older bases , may in the future )
