Can I replace the (720) cameras that work with my existing Base Unit, with the new 1080 HD camers? Or do I have to buy the new ARLO Pro 2 unit and camera package?

So I have the basic Arlo with 2 cameras. Is the Arlo Pro 2 compatible with the the older cameras?

I just bought a three camera Arlo Pro (1) system and want to know if Arlo Pro 2 features will work on a regular Arlo Pro (1) base. Thinking about adding additional cameras that are Arlo Pro 2 to my Arlo Pro (1) system vs returning my Arlo Pro system that is less than 3 weeks old and buying a new Arlo 2 system with new Arlo Pro base.

Pro2 will work on the Pro Base.

All Arlo wireless cameras are compatible with all Arlo bases.
