Camera turns on even when not activated in mode

I have noticed that all 3 of my indoor cameras red night vision turns on even though they are not activated in the current mode. The light stays on from 2-10 secs. Sometimes all the cameras come on at the same time, but not always. This does not occur consistently, and there are no new recordings in my library. Anyone know a reason for this?
My main concern is that my cameras are being hacked. I have already contacted support asking that they give me a reason why the light turns on or confirm that my account was secure and they would not do either.

Are they plugged into wall power? If so, they're constantly streaming and may need to use the IR LEDs in low light. They constantly stream since that's how you get the 3 second lookback feature.

Have you tried to remove the cameras from Settings > My Devices & re-add them?

That being said, I can go months without noticing the cameras activating on their own.

Just wondering, would the cameras constantly stream even if they aren't selected to be on in the mode?

The cameras will not constantly stream unless you have a CVR subscription.

Or plugged into AC power since that's how you get the 3 second lookback.
