When camera is plugged into source, it will continuously record even when it is not armed?

Hi, i was in belief that when outdoor camera are plugged in to the power source, it would continuously record even when it is not armed and send notificarions. Does it not?

If it not, could you armed the outside ones 24/7 and armed inside ones when you are not in and disarmed when you are in.

It does record all the time which give the "lookback 3 sec feature "... but they must be armed for record and alerts

To acually record 24/7, you must purchase the CVR option for that camera

You can arm outside cameras all the time ans insides when not home, but first you must create custom modes to split the groups up to like inside/outside...

Then just use Arm for when not home ( all active ) and just custom mode Outside when you are ( outside cams )

......thank you and i have created a custom mode for outside cameras.

If i purchase CVR, could i cancel at any time or you are basically tied up for a whole year or more......

It is for one year, unsure if you would get a credit back if cancelled
