topic Base station no lights in Arlo Pro 2

I have no power going to my base station. Had this problem for quiet a while and just getting round to dealing with it. Have tried different cable and still nothing. However, if it’s left for a week or longer, when it’s plugged in, the lights work, but go off about ten minutes later and nothing brings it back to live. This is very strange. Any ideas? Or do I need a new base station?
Thanks in advance
Steve

If you have a voltmeter, it would be easy to check the output of the original ac adapter...

it should be 12v dc center positive.

If the adapter is good, then maybe it is the base

Thanks for your response. Think it must be the power connection inside the base station. With a little gentle persuasion we have managed to get it to stay on. Will keep an eye on this

It ain't gonna get better. I'd open that case anyways so you don't have issues down the road.
