Second camera Arlo Pro 2 (VMC4030P) cannot sync with base (VMB400)

I recently purchased the Arlo pro2. I was able to setup the base and sync the first camera but with the second camera it will not sync. it flashes blue slowly for 2 minutes. Then it switches to amber and flashes fast. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to get it synced.

I have taken the battery out of the first one and placed it in the second camera. still didn't help. then i removed the base and tried to restart from the beginning still the same result.

A frequent issue is that you're holding the base sync button. Don't. A brief (<1 second) press is all that's needed.

Did you perform any firmware updates if you were prompted? Old/mismatched firmware causes weird issues.

A system reset may help. Remove all devices from Settings, My Devices. Hold the base reset button until the LEDs flash amber. Let the base reboot. Add the base back in normally. Try syncing the cameras. If this doesn't owrk, swap at the store or open a case with support:
