Arlo Pro 2 Local Storage Auto Overwrite Not Working

I have an Arlo Pro 2 that does not overwrite on the external USB flash drive when full. The USB icon greys out and when i check the files on USB drive it doesn't show any newer files. When i insert a different flash drive, i always format with the base unit and toggle "Automatic Overwrite" off and then on. I have tried 5 different USB drives with the same result.

Any suggestions?
