How to record Arlo Q locally without Base Station? Can Ultra connect to Arlo Pro Base Station?

So, i started off with an Arlo Pro - saw the Arlo Q and bought it - does not link to base, no big deal, just would like to have it linked so i could have had the USB drive back up the videos.

Question I have is if i get an Arlo Pro 2 will it link to the same base that the Arlo pro's are - and do you think the ultra will connect to the same base?

The Q Plus can record to an SD card in it.

All wireless cameras sync to al bases. The Ultra camera is currently the exception but a firmware update is supposed to allow it to connect to older bases dow the road.
