I want to set my 3 cameras up to run the motion detection from 8pm to 7am. When i put 8pm in as my start time or even 7pm, it turns purple with an x not allowing these times. it will let me arm them from 7am to 7pm but that is not what i want.

Make sure if your scheduling thru midnight, the time MUST be split into two parts

In your case 8pm to 7am;

8pm to 1159pm and next day 12 midnight to 7am

It turns out that with recent updates, use 12:00AM for both the evening stop time as well as the morning start time so that minute before midnight is still armed. Dunno when it changed but that's the way it is.
