1) I have a set of 5 Arlo Pro2 cameres. All connected with permanent USB power cables. Does this ruin the battery in the cam by overcharging and not using the battery? I never lose power in the house. But I did it because I hated constantly charging the cameras every 30-35 days.

2) when I connect a brand new USB memory card (tried multiple) the app recognizes that a USB device is connected to the base station, but it doesnt let me manage it, or change any settings. It’s a locked screen basically.

1) It will not ruin the battery if left on charge, the battery will sit at only 80% ( of real full charge ) while in camera

( a safety factor for this reason , tho the battery will read 100% charged )

2) Try to see if it is the app and not the system...I try to do all maintenance on the web as it is very stable
