    <description>&lt;P&gt;The Arlo Pro 2 will run off batteries for several months. More if there aren't many activations, less if it's constantly activated and recording. Most people use these cameras without AC power with the main convenience being that they can be put nearly anywhere because they don't need wires. You do, however, get some additional features when it's plugged into AC power so having an outdoor power point is extremely handy&lt;/P&gt;</description>

My outdoor power point can easily be turned off by an intruder. Does it have a battery backup in the event of a power cut? How long does the battery last for? thanks,&lt;/P&gt;</description>
