Hi, Is there a mounting point underneath/at the bottom of the camera under the silicon cover? i have see a lot of mounts with the Arlo pro 2 sitting on top of the mount

Nope. The Pro cameras all have mounting locations on the back,near the charging port and magnetic ball mount.

So just to confirm I can't mount it as the pictures on the box?

The mounting location for the original Arlo camera is on the bottom near the front of the camera. Most of us use Pro and Pro2 cameras now, which has the mounting screw moved to the rear...where things are pretty tight. Some retaining nuts interfere with cables for power back there.
