Login and arlo pro 2 sync problems

Arlo online login hangs, no redirect. If I type in the wrong password it lets me know it's incorrect, but won't continue/redirect with the right one.

If I choose "new to arlo" and follow instuctions - hold sync for one second and should hear shutter sound upon release, I get no sound. The camera won't read the QR code either. If I click continue to bypass all this and onto the "looking for arlo" page, it never finds anything.

I am setting this up online only as I do not have a compatible phone for apps

Which website are you going to?
Can you screenshot the part where it says you should hear a shutter sound? I've never seen or heard of that

Arlo Pro 2 doesn't use a QR code AFAIK. I think that might be for a phone app.

I may have figured it out. I wasn't choosing base station after new to arlo.
